Henry M. Rosenberg

Henry M. Rosenberg (February 28, 1858 – December 24, 1947) was a painter whose style varied from reality to tonalism, symbolism and impressionism, as without difficulty as a printmaker and educator. He was Principal of the Victoria School of Art and Design (now known as NSCAD) from 1898 to 1910. Writers upon the history of art in Nova Scotia call him the "grand out of date man of Nova Scotian art".
