Edward Penfield

Edward Penfield (June 2, 1866 – February 8, 1925) was an American illustrator in the period known as the "Golden Age of American Illustration" and he is considered the dad of the American poster. His play-act has been included in almost every major book upon American Illustration or the archives of the poster. He is along with a major figure in the progress of graphic design.
