Frances Barth

Frances Barth (born 1946) is an American artist. Barth is director emerita of the Mount Royal School of Art at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Barth studied at Hunter College and graduated once a thesis upon Henri Matisse and Islamic art.

Work by Barth is in the buildup of the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
