Kate Cory

Kate Cory (February 8, 1861 – June 12, 1958) was an American photographer and artist. She studied art in New York, and subsequently worked as billboard artist. She traveled to the southwestern United States in 1905 and lived in the midst of the Hopi for several years, recording their lives in about 600 photographs.
