Maynard Dixon

Maynard Dixon (January 24, 1875 – November 11, 1946) was an American artist whose body of proceed focused upon the American West. He was married for a times to American photographer Dorothea Lange.

Together afterward Fernand Lungren (1857–1932), another California (i.e. Santa Barbara, California) based artist, Maynard Dixon is considered one of the finest artists having dedicated most of their art upon the U.S. southwestern cultures and landscapes at the fall of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century.
