Nicola Marschall

Nicola Marschall (March 16, 1829 – February 24, 1917) was a German-American artist who supported the Confederate cause during the American Civil War. He intended the indigenous Confederate flag, the Stars and Bars, as skillfully as the certified grey uniform of the Confederate army.
