Charles Mayton

Charles Mayton (born 1974, Florida) is a New York-based painter. His feat combines painterly abstraction subsequent to the iconography of digital media. Mayton’s visual strategies of takeover and détournement have been compared to the occupation art of the Pictures Generation.
