Fay Morgan Taylor

Fay Morgan Taylor (June 25, 1909 – Sept 19, 1990) was an American Modernist artist.

Born in Pittsburgh in 1909. After studying at the University of Washington, Morgan came to San Francisco in 1930. She continued her studies at the California School of Fine Arts and graduated from UC Berkeley in 1934. The subsequent to year she married player Farwell Taylor. The Taylors maintained a studio in San Francisco until 1949 and subsequently moved across the niche to Mill Valley where she lived until arson destroyed her house and whatever its contents in the mid-1980s. She after that moved to Novato, California where she remained until her demise on 1990. A modernist painter, her works add up philosophical studies and abstracts.
