Jacob Landau (artist)

Jacob Landau (December 17, 1917 – November 24, 2001) was an American performer best known for his evocative works upon the human condition. Typically, his works residence the Great Depression, World War II, and the impact of technology and politics on individuals and their surroundings. Landau's works can be found in the steadfast collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Library of Congress, the Museum of Modern Art, and the National Gallery.
