Louise Emerson Ronnebeck

Louise Emerson Ronnebeck (25 August 1901 – 17 February 1980) was an American painter best known for her murals executed for the Works Progress Administration (WPA). Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she married artist Arnold Ronnebeck (1885–1947) in 1926 and they settled in Denver, Colorado. In Denver she built a well-to-do career documenting western American history and social issues of the 1930s and 1940s.
