Nell Choate Jones

Nell Hinton Choate Jones (1879–1981) was an American performer and educator, who painted scenes of the Southern United States in a extremely individualized expressionist style. Her style is characterized by the simplification of forms, rhythmic designs, and use of buzzing colors.
