Nora Houston

Eleanora (or Eleanor) Clare Gibson Houston ( HOW-stən; June 24, 1883 – February 20, 1942) was an American painter, women's rights advocate, and suffragist. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Houston studied art at an to the lead age, traveling to New York and abroad, before returning to Richmond to tutor and entry a studio subsequently Adele Goodman Clark. She was an swift participant in the women's suffrage motion in Virginia.
