Sono Osato (artist)

Sono Osato (born January 1, 1960) is an American artiste born in Baden Baden, Germany. She attended Arizona State University and California College of the Arts. Osato's enactment includes sculptures and paintings. Both often count up found objects, such as robot parts and animal bones. Her produce a result attempts to amalgamation the boundaries amongst artistic disciplines. Her works, the Silent Language and Buried Language series, deal primarily once the intersection of language and topography.

Osato's painting Meena is part of the remaining collection at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. Mandala With Doorknob is in the deposit of the Oakland Museum of California.
